If only you were here at the start of the year Jessie. I was going through a tough time and it would have been so good to talk to someone like you.

Wow. So I’m guessing the directory has officially launched.

Welcome Jessie! I read your article. Good going. I’m glad someone like you decided to join. I joined because I am the plan nominee for my family member. We’ve had our fair share of challenging behaviours and your article was gold. I’m with Jake. Thankyou for taking the time to be so supportive and create good content for us.

Welcome to the forum Jessie

I have a little one and found your article helpful too. Would love to see more in future

Hi Jessie. It is so true that all behaviour is communication. I’m so glad that people understand now that when someone especially children act out its usually masking another issue or their way of coping with emotions rather than just being ‘bad’. Even in adults its often a link to their childhood or trauma. The person is separate from the behavior. It reminds me of the video of a young man who went to school with not so good intentions and a teacher saw and gave him a hug and the poor kid just fell apart. He wasn’t angry, he was hurting.
