Hi Everyone.
My name is Mona and my company is AH Healthcare. I’m a Registered Nurse with a multitude (20 yrs or more) of nursing experience in a wide range of the nursing profession. I decided to go into disability care after working in aged care for the past 7 yrs because I find it so rewarding to be part of someone’s life’s journey. When I say that I feel I need to explain a little more because with all the different disciplines in nursing disability and aged care is so different because you get to spend more time with aged care resident and disability participants due to the nature of the job which is not as fast paced as acute care.
So Cos, LACs and participants At Home Healthcare is Based in Baldivis,Perth with immediate capacity to take on clients in our modern SIL accommadation
It’s great to have someone with such extensive nursing experience joining the community. Transitioning from aged care to disability care sounds like such a meaningful shift and it’s awesome to hear how much you value the personal connection that comes with it.
We hope you make connections and get value from the community here.
Version 2 of this platform should be dropping in the next 2 months. We’ve been thinking very hard about how to facilitate connections easier and have enhanced engagement. So make sure you stick around and take the time to build connections and get to know the community before things really amp up
If you need anything in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Oh and don’t forget to create your post signature.
Props for the career shift. Disability care’s definitely a different vibe but sounds like you’re loving it. Best of luck with the new setup in Baldivis.
