Hi everyone! My name is Naz, and I am part of a team passionate about providing dynamic and person-centered support. Our backgrounds span ABA therapy, youth residential care, psychology, counseling, children’s amusement, and operational management. Most importantly, we have hands-on experience supporting people with disabilities through fun, skill-building activities, alongside social outings helping fostering better connections to the community.
We offer a mix of services, including transport for social and daily needs, small to medium group outdoor programs (fully mobile), lawn and house care, and for NDIS/non-NDIS furniture/waste removal.
We’re always open to feedback and excited to connect with participants and providers to learn, grow, and improve our services. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and teach us a thing or two in how we can best utilise this space. Thanks everyone!

Hi and welcome
I like that you’re combining social activities with real-life skill building. Are your outdoor programs more structured or more casual hangouts? You’ve got a unique service mix, especially the furniture and waste removal part!

Hey mate! Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to our post, we thought because of the transition to CareFlair that maybe everyone’s moved there and we missed out chances to chat
Our outdoor programs are a blend of structure and allocated free time to ensure the pacing is smooth without being overwhelming.
Essentially, our community participation days emphasise combining fun and social interaction with positive health outcomes (without being a dedicated personal training session). Examples of days in focus could be nature based lookout walk or fishing, while another would include an arcade/bowling fun-centric social experience alongside a brunch out and about. In addition to these activities, we plan to utilise spaces such as parks and also a partnered local gym to deliver basic exercise with an emphasis on inclusivity, fun and safety.
With that being said, we are open and flexible to be mindful of participant’s preferences.
An example of capacity building we offer is where we practice taking public transport to the city and run an activity, we take the time to prompt using Opal Cards.
We also intend to run other daily living capacity building exercises in community spaces (library, centres etc). The benefit to this approach is that, if the space allows it, we can pair these aspects with the fun-social elements such as arts and crafts plus themed parties and dancing.
Unique indeed! My team and I have previous experience in the waste management industry so we thought it would be a good addition, certain insights is what allows us to provide a prompt service. We feel quite confident about utilising what we know to source bins, removal procedures, ensuring delivery/pickup timeframes are met and kept, and safe disposal of waste, to ensure a space is as good as new for its next application
We hope this provides more insight into what we can do. Please let us know what you think.
Thank you once again for reaching out, have a lovely evening
Welcome to the platform Naz
Great to have you here. Love the energy and approachable vibe.
Things on the forum can ebb and flow a little, but there’s a growing community watching and engaging over time. Lots of lurkers and readers. At the moment, we send out email notifications, but we don’t yet have push notifications that go straight to someone’s phone, like what apps typically do. Since our mobile app isn’t live just yet, that real time back and forth can be a little slower than it will be in the near future.
However, we’re about 6–8 weeks away (pending everything goes smoothly) from launching the next version of the platform, Careflair, and the mobile app will follow shortly after that. Once that’s in place, we expect things to ramp up quickly with stronger engagement and better visibility for posts like yours.
In the meantime, we’ve still got a really genuine and high quality group of people here and it’s great to have you as part of it Naz
G’day Jake! Thank you for clarifying what’s happening and what’s the vibes for this space in the future. Actually feels awesome that we’re not too late to this party or the next one
This may be a silly question, but would it make more sense to duplicate this intro post onto the new service/system? Or would it kind of pop up on the forums on CareFlair and carry over to there?
Thank you mate! Me and my team are eager to make a genuine and positive impression for the people we’d support. A strong care factor and integrity matter the most to us. I personally feel like this approach creates a strong foundation for pretty much all aspects, and paves the way for best practice and positive outcomes for all parties as things progress.
You’re a legend for letting us know what’s going on! Thank you once again. Hope you have a lovely evening
Welcome! Sounds like you’re wearing many hats (and probably getting your steps in with all those mobile programs!). Out of curiosity, how do you manage logistics across such a wide variety of services?

Hi Connor! This is Ilz from INSPYRECO, yes we are definitely reaching our step count goal
Both Naz and I have a strong background in operational management, which helps greatly when it comes to understanding and organising our schedule. Naz and I are the primary service providers however, we do have other dedicated team members to assist with additional needs (such as transport needs, waste transport solutions and company regulations for NDIS).
In terms of app organisation and logistics we intend to use apps we are familiar with and use specialised platforms like ShiftCare (which may already be familiar with). The most important aspect when we schedule is to find the balance of a structured yet flexible approach.
I hope I have provided enough insight

The focus on fun without it feeling like a “session” probably makes a big difference. The arcade and brunch combo sounds like an easy win. Do you find people tend to lean more toward the social stuff like bowling and brunch, or are the more laid-back nature days a bigger hit?
Yeah, the wait for the Careflair upgrade has definitely been dragging on. Hopefully, it’s not too much longer now.
Glad you stuck around in the meantime, always good to see providers who are keen to chat and share what they’re up to.

Hey mate! We currently have limited experience as a provider to draw from. By shadowing established practices we have found that by planning a mix of indoor and outdoor activities keep the schedule engaging for participants. We’ve also found this to be the case for our own support work instances.
Some days a relatively chill time grazing and bowling is the vibe, some days being in touch with the outdoors (as long as it is safe and not too challenging for inclines) to see a lookout is engaging. And sometimes, it’s just neat to have a dedicated but relaxed timeslot to get some physical activity in.
This definitely isn’t the limits to what we can do, but is an idea of our varied activities in a fixed weekly schedule (eg capacity building focus day, or chill vibes day)
CareFlair sounds like it’ll be huge. Pretty exciting stuff for everyone hey!
Trust us mate we’re very grateful to have valuable members of this community having a chat to us; we’re eager to grow and showcase positive vibes and outcomes for clients, and development as providers.
Thanks for responding, hope you’re having an awesome weekend so far!
Best Regards,
Naz
