Need help to support my younger brother

Hey all. I’ve had a little look around and this community is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

I’m a member of some facebook groups, but there isn’t really a sense of community or structure. This platform bridges those gaps.

I’ve been a part of online forums in the past for other topics and think they’re brilliant!

I’m starting to find my feet in this whole NDIS world as I support my younger brother. It’s a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to learn and hopefully share some laughs and stories along the way. I’m all ears for any tips, especially on making this journey fun and not just a list of tasks.

Excited to be part of this community! I’m more confident in the road ahead for assisting my brother with this resource.

Welcome. It’s a rollercoaster, but a rewarding one. A tip from me – try to find little victories and celebrate them. It keeps things positive. And don’t forget, we’re all here to help each other out!

Hello DigitalDreamer_55 (love the username).

Welcome to our supportive community! Your approach to making the NDIS journey fun is fantastic. Hopefully this forum will assist with that. Remember, we have plenty of resources here, and don’t hesitate to ask any questions, no matter how small they might seem. Welcome aboard!

Oh and I have been a part of other online forums in the past and loved them too. Best way to get info IMO. When I stumbled upon the fact that the NDIS community didn’t have one, I decided to create one.

There’ll be lots of upgrades and changes as the months go by. I’m looking to make this THE go to place for info and networking.

Hi glad you joined us! Navigating the NDIS can seem daunting at first. What helped me was keeping a journal of our journey – the ups, the downs, and everything in between. It’s therapeutic and a great way to track progress. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences!
