I just absolutely love it when people on this site are talking, asking questions and sharing ideas.
It is a good time to decide what you would like to talk/learn about over the next couple of weeks. Please feel free to make suggestions in the comments if you have ideas that I have not thought of. There is a whole wide world of information to decipher and enjoy.
So here are some thoughts I had that people may be interested in:

Statistics could be another thing to talk about but that might be a new provider discussion more than a participant one.
I do like statistics. The statistics on this forum are fun. The forum is almost at 1000 likes, and nearly 300 of those came in just in the last 30 days.
I might get a bit like happy over the next few days
Pureed diet article would be great to learn a thing or two. Hoping you can specifically team how to create delicious pureed food. If that’s even possible lol. But if anyone can crack that code, its you Lauren.
My favourite recipes are actually pureed desserts. 2 really easy ones I make are very similar, apple pie or banana pie.
Apple pie:
peel and chop up 3 pink lady apples. Put them in a pot with 2 tablespoons of honey, a tablespoon each of cinnamon and nutmeg and add water to cover over it by about an inch. Boil for 20 minutes. Drain the apples.
Put the apple into a blender with 2 large tablespoons of biscoff smooth spread and about half a cup of custard (liddells makes a nice lactose free version if lactose is a problem). Blend it together and serve warm not hot.
The banana is the same in the second half. For the bananas I take 3 whole on baking paper on a tray and bake them in the oven at 160 degrees until the skins turn black. Then I cool and peel them and add them to the blender instead of apple.
Hmmm, I like the sound of those! Thanks for sharing! The idea of roasting the bananas is something I hadn’t thought of. I didn’t realised it made banana’s sweeter!
I’ll give these a try, especially the apple pie one. Pureed food is usually a bit of a struggle, so it’s nice to have some new ideas to work with.
I might try adapting it to make mini portions for snacks, thinking it could be a nice treat to share with the family too. Will be nice for my son to be able to feel like he’s eating the same food as us instead of feeling like the odd one out all the time.
Understanding complaints policies and procedures is a definite for me Lauren. I have always wanted to know what our rights are and what providers should be doing.
Understanding complaints policies and procedures when working with a provider article is inbound. Very soon
I have been a bit delayed because I have a trip to Sydney coming up from the 6th-12th December to help my grandmother and I am trying to line up work for it.
