Hi Wilabuss
Welcome to the platform. It’s a pleasure to have you here.
I’ve moved your post to the B2B introductions section as your intro post contains business related queries. The B2B section is the place to ask all of your business related questions. The B2B section is still relatively new, so there isn’t as much activity on it yet.
@Lauren is 10/10 knowledgeable. Her posts are absolutely fantastic. Lots of business knowledge… Btw, so nice of you to take the time to look at their site Lauren. Just imagining you sitting there in your little hoodie with this pensive look on your face as you do your quick analysis haha.
Also, Wilabuss I’ve had to remove your social media links as its straying into active solicitation territory. However, we provide the ability to have a post signature with every post so that if participants like what they see in your posts, they can click through to your directory listing. This way we can keep the platform free of excessive commercial activity.
You can set your post signature up here in your dashboard:
This is a thread whereby someone was asking how to go about getting referrals. Essentially what you’re asking here. I suggest you have a read after creating your signature.
It’s definitely unique industry whereby people really have to have at least a small amount of liking and trust for you before they’ll feel comfortable taking up services with you.
There are so many providers all offering the same service, all with the same looking websites and marketing copy, so it can be challenging to avoid falling into the trap of blending in. This platform tries to overcome this issue by giving providers the chance to show participants what they’re like, get to know them, have a little fun, help them with their queries etc. All things that build comfort and trust. All from the convenience of your loungeroom. All things that fall outside the regular run of the mill marketing and advertising.
Normally this kind of activity is done physically in the community and can be challenging to do on a consistent basis due to logistical issues (especially if you’re running a company with several clients). You definitely shouldn’t neglect your local community outreach, but interacting with participants here is another way to perform community outreach that is more consistent and has less logistical challenges.
So interact with participants and other providers here and begin the gradual process of developing a reputation in this industry.
