Driving Miss Daisy Intro

Hello P&P Community!
I’m Dallas and I’m thrilled to be joined by my wife, Elizabeth, as we share our vision of connecting communities. My journey has always been about bringing people together. I had the privilege of serving remote areas of Australia as a pilot with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in outback Australia, where I witnessed firsthand the vital role that support, and companionship play in peoples’ lives. This passion led me to help establish the Community Transport program for the Royal Flying Doctor Service here in Lakes Entrance. Through this work, I recognised a growing need for even more personalised support, which inspired us to bring our own business, Driving Miss Daisy to our local community—offering a service that goes beyond transport to truly enrich lives.

We would love to assist you, a loved one or family member to live life to the fullest. Whether it’s getting to an appointment on time, enjoying lunch, going shopping or providing transport to your daily activities.

Our personal service is perfect for NDIS participants because it stands apart from taxis and rideshare kerb-to-kerb transport. Our safe, dependable, and friendly companion driving service offers far more than just transportation. We can take you to your local shops, even help you find specials on your weekly shopping, and once we’ve driven you home, help unpack your groceries! We don’t honk the horn—we greet you at your door with a trusty umbrella if it’s raining or too hot, and we assist you in any way you need until you’re safely home again.

For your peace of mind, we are vetted by the Australian Police, trained in First Aid and Dementia Friends, approved for Working with Children, NDIS Screening and orientation.

We recognise that growing older can bring some challenges, but it doesn’t mean life should be any less fulfilling. Join us soon to see why we, as part of the national Driving Miss Daisy family, are committed to supporting your independence.

We look forward to meeting you and being your family when family can’t be there!™
