Does anyone love Australian Story?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there loves watching Australian Story? I love watching it. They seem to feature a lot of stories about people with disabilities and how they overcome their challenges in life. I find it quite inspiring!

I used to love watching it with my Nana. Very engaging show.

I haven’t seen it in years though.

Is there an episode you were specifically referring to?

Hi Jake,

I think all the episodes are really good however there was one that stood out to me. There was a story featured on Elly May Barnes (Jimmy Barnes daughter). She has cerebral palsy and she has overcome many barriers (and I’m sure she still does!) so she can perform. I loved this episode because of my passion for my work as well as singing/music.

I’ll have to watch it.

My Mum loves Jimmy Barnes. I never knew he had a daughter with Cerebral Palsy though.

(I’m sure my Mum would slap me in the head and tell me that she’s told me this before though).

I think the story is featured in series 2023.

I love Australian story. I’m a big ABC nut. I haven’t seen the episode you’re referring to though. I’ll check it out today.
