I find that advertising on Facebook doesn’t seem to be quite helpful to get the business out there. What other platforms do you use to for your business advertisement? We provide services not only to NDIS clients, but also DVA and private clients.
I generally find advertising online does not work. The internet and all platforms are absolutely flooded with generic ndis advertising. So much so that participants and coordinators ignore it.
I find it more effective to create opportunities to meet my target audience in the community or specifically tailor advertising to individuals and groups.
You can also organise your own events for participants to attend if you have the finances for it. Just has to be something your locals are interested in.

The ability to create your own group and provide value to make yourself stand out. For you Theresa, I’m thinking online cooking lessons and then you can tell people about your services at some point while providing the value… Or maybe (with the permission of your clients) get someone to record some of your cooking sessions with clients.
You’re in the unusual position where your business model is already unique, if you were to combine that with building an online community and providing value up front, you’re probably going to see compounding effects.
There’s many providers that will drop a generic ad and then run without providing any value… Putting in even just a little effort to provide value up front will make you stand out in a saturated market.
We’re working hard in the background to provide you guys the tools needed to stand out. We’re about 6 - 8 weeks off the next iteration of the platform being launched.

I think you need to identify what sets your services apart from competitors. This could be specialised programs, personalised care plans, or unique expertise. Clearly articulate this uniqueness in all your marketing materials to attract clients seeking specific solutions. Hope this helps
We try and keep our advertising as local as possible and use Facebook, Google business etc to get discovered. It’s easy to get lost in all the advertising and we just hope are clients are looking for a service just down the street and discover us
Thanks everyone for your advice! I really appreciate it. As we are still a small business that is starting up, we are limited in our budget and what platforms we are able to advertise to get our names out there. I’ll keep trying!
